Pioneer TS-WX140DA: Active 8" (20cm) Slim Underseat Subwoofer with Built-In 170W Amplifier

Small in size yet able to produce powerful and impactful bass, the TS-WX140DA compact active subwoofer is a perfect upgrade for many of today’s vehicles where small size and low power consumption are priorities. Featuring a powerful, built-in 170 W (max) Class D amplifier, a down-firing 8" x 5.25" rectangular subwoofer, and Pioneer's DIGITAL BASS CONTROL, the TS-WX140DA can be tuned to your listening preferences and vehicle acoustics. The TS-WX140DA also has multiple input options, allowing connectivity to both aftermarket and OE (Original Equipment) car audio systems.

Easy Installation

This speaker is particularly compact, allowing for installation in a wide range of vehicle applications. While it is primarily designed for under-seat use, its small size and high output power may make you want to use it in other applications as well.

Ultra-Low current consumption

The TS-WX140DA features built-in high-efficiency Class-D amplification, offering an ultra-low average current consumption of only 4.3 amps (max). This allows the unit to be installed without the need for heavy-gauge wires to power the internal amplification. In fact, this current consumption is so low that this amplified subwoofer is the ideal solution for adding bass to music in an electric vehicle.

With the included RCA (low-voltage) input and speaker line (high-voltage) input cables, you can start your setup right out of the box. Designed for easy integration, this powered subwoofer makes installation easy, whether or not your source unit has pre-outs.

DEEP Mode achieves rich, deep bass sound quality in the car; NATURAL Mode provides clean, lifelike bass; and DYNAMIC Mode emphasizes powerful, strong, and dynamic bass sound in the car.

Honeycomb Structure

The TS-WX140DA main chassis is designed with an optimized honeycomb structure, making the shallow and compact composite body more rigid and reducing mechanical vibrations. The result is cleaner bass output with lower distortion, even at high volume levels.

Pioneer introduces the TS-WX140DA, featuring DIGITAL BASS CONTROL, a revolutionary feature that offers three selectable Bass Modes: DEEP, NATURAL, and DYNAMIC. With a built-in 170W amplifier, this subwoofer produces powerful, rich, and deep bass that you can feel, all without compromising on space. Users can conveniently control and customise the bass modes using the supplied wired remote control, making it easy to mount the TS-WX140DA under the front seats or in the boot.

Seamless Installation with Class-D Technology

Thanks to its Class-D technology, the TS-WX140DA is exceptionally easy to install, capable of accepting both High (Speaker Line Input) and Low (RCA Line Input) input signals. This flexibility allows seamless connection to aftermarket or original factory-fitted stereos, enabling a straightforward upgrade to your current sound system.
